The prices for privates are $60+ gst for a single and $70+ gst for a couple. For two people we charge $80+ gst. All private lessons are in increments of one hour and are taught in prime location studios. We offer a package of 10 classes with a discount of 10% (valid for 3 months). We also tailor special packages. Group private sessions can also be designed. Please contact us for a quote with any special request.

* Prices are subject to change without prior notice

Do you tailor workshops for private parties?

All workshops and classes can be designed to fit your needs. If you have something in mind, please give us a call and we’ll help you explore the possibilities with you. We have done stagettes, weddings and private events. Our Reggaeton Stagettes are very popular and are a blast! Please ask us for a quote.

What is the fee for a drop-in?

The drop-in fee ranges between $15 - $17 (+ gst), depending on the type of class and location. Most classes do not offer drop-ins, please read below for explanation.

* Prices are subject to change without prior notice

Are drop-ins allowed in all classes?

No. Drop-ins are only allowed in classes where the knowledge doesn’t build on top of each other in a systematic way, and as long as the class is not full. The Reggaeton, Afro-Cuban Movements and Sueltas classes are designed in a way that allows drop-ins. In the Cuban Salsa, Cuban Rumba and Cuban Son (for Salsa also matching the number of men and women is very important), drop-ins are not possible. If in doubt, contact Latidos and consult our team.

Do you need a partner to register into a Salsa class?

You don’t have to come with a partner. We make sure there is a matched number of men and women. But it is highly recommended to bring one if you can, so that you find it easier to practice outside of the classes. We keep a fairly even number of leads and followers. We do not accept people into the program if a balance is not maintained.

As part of registration I had to give private information, what do you do with it?

We collect information for statistics reasons only. All information is kept strictly confidential. We do not give or sell private information. This information helps us in our advertising efforts and also in our efforts to make your experience unique by providing better and more personalized customer service.

Do you have any intermediate Salsa level classes?

Yes, we have a few different levels running at one time, it is best to contact us and ask us for specific information. Depending on the balance of men and women in the class, we can offer people to enter into these classes at different points, based on their abilities and past experience.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you miss a class where drop-ins are allowed, in most cases, it will not affect you. If you are in a group setting like in a Salsa class, we review in each class what we did in the previous class. Still, we encourage students to book a make up private session to ensure that they are up to speed. If you miss more than one class, most likely you will need a private to catch up. If in doubt, consult the Latidos team before registering or consult your instructor after the course begins. In order to remain competitive with our prices, we do not offer at this unpaid catch up classes, it is the responsibility of the student to make sure they are up to speed. We do all in our power to help the student.

Can missed classes be credited or transferred to other people?

We get requests all the time to transfer, credit or refund classes. Unfortunately, as stated in the Latidos refund policy , it is not possible. The classes have a competitive price and are treated as one entity, once the round of classes starts, unless in case of personal injury, the money cannot be refunded, credited or transferred to another person or program. We understand that many situations are very valid, but if we will not follow this policy, the classes will cease to exist.

What should I wear to class? What should I bring?

Usually we recommend wearing something comfortable, like training pants and a top. For Reggaeton we recommend wearing anything sexy that you are comfortable in. Generally speaking, you want to be comfortable moving for an hour and a half and sweating. This is true for both men and women. As for shoes, not like most Latin dance schools, we like our students to come with flat shoes that don’t strain their back. Also please bring shoes that don't mark the floors. We recommend bringing a bottle of water and maybe a small towel.

Whaere can I meet others who want to dance?

Once you join one of our classes, workshops or private lessons, we invite you to out Latidos VIP club. The VIP club is on Facebook and is by invitation only. It's open to all past and current students. We post every week events so that you can see where everyone is going out to and you can RSVP. You can also post your own pictures, links and videos there and every time we go out, we post new pictures and tag everyone.. There is always a group of us out there, getting together and dancing.. It's social and fun..
